About this Event
In partnership with Capital One, WIBF is proud to bring together an event focussing on actionable recommendations and effect policy change to better retain and promote women in the financial services workforce. The ACT research programme is the UK’s first cross-sector initiative designed to bring a gender lens to the UK financial services industry. The programme launched a four-year journey to foster gender parity in the financial services sector. The programme has seen a sequential approach, beginning with a foundational year that identified key gender-related challenges and introduced the Good Finance Framework (GFF). In the second year, a toolkit was developed around GFF, complemented by the '100 Diverse Voices' project to enrich the conversation on gender diversity. Year three is pivotal, marking the phase of practical implementation of GFF in organisational DE&I strategies. Join us on 16 May 2024 4-5.45pm at the Capital One Nottingham offices* to hear from a variety of speakers on how leaders can support, nurture and inspire the innovation women bring to the industry and how encouraging flexibility and autonomy can enable women to succeed.
