Did you know...

WIBF as an HMRC Approved Professional Body - therefore your membership cost can be reclaimed on your tax return.

You can reclaim tax on:

  • professional membership fees, if you must pay the fees to be able to do your job
  • annual subscriptions you pay to approved professional bodies or learned societies if being a member of that body or society is relevant to your job
  • annual subscriptions for journals or other publications that have a letter ‘J’ in brackets after the organisation’s name

FAQs

  • If your organisation is a corporate member you will receive a code for discounted membership to register with WIBF. Contact operations@wibf.org.uk if you need the code to be resent to you.

  • Yes! You can pay a guest fee to attend an event. We have a limited number of events that are free for non-members, but generally you will need to join to access this benefit of membership. Those with digital, student and mentor memberships will need to pay as a guest for in-person events.

  • Yes – WIBF welcomes everyone. We value the support of male allies and encourage everyone who shares our mission of advancing gender equity in financial services to get involved.

  • Memberships are non-transferable unless details change within the first two months of membership.

  • Please email operations@wibf.org.uk and a member of the WIBF team will contact you shortly.
