EY’s Women in Technology Network promotes greater gender diversity by encouraging and supporting women in the predominantly male-dominated technology industry.

By hosting numerous events both within EY and externally, WiT continues to grow as a network, with more than 1,300 members and increase its reach in supporting women in the technology-related fields. The network’s events to-date have included speaker series, knowledge sharing events and coding bootcamps, the latter upskilling over 300 EY individuals with technology skills; client events encouraging clients to actively participate in workshops centred on themes such as cyber security, digital disruption and robotics; and programmes to encourage school and university students to participate in STEM subjects and enter into the workforce. WiT has representation on the board of TechUK, and its members have been recognised as TechWoman50 Rising Stars and internally with the EY Better Begins With You award for promoting gender diversity in the workplace.
