We are now recruiting for Head of Thought Leadership

An exciting new opportunity to join the WIBF team.

“WIBF are looking to recruit someone in the newly created role of Head of Thought Leadership, reporting to the Director for Marketing, Thought Leadership and Partnerships.

The main duties of this role are to drive awareness of the key issues and opportunities for the Women in Banking and Finance sector.
Key functions of this role include:

• Assisting in the implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of WIBF
• Ensuring WIBF becomes the destination for all thought leadership in the Banking and Finance industry.
• Developing and implementing an effective Thought Leadership strategy to support the three year plan for WIBF

We have lots of exciting plans and initiatives in the pipeline and this is an amazing opportunity to become involved with WIBF and help lead WIBF into becoming a destination for all relevant research . This is a voluntary position.

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

• A thought leader and team player, willing to work with a range of WIBF volunteers, members and committees to execute on an effective strategy for WIBF.
• Success in a thought leadership role/insight/journalist role.  Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and planning skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with other members of the WIBF Board to achieve results.
• Provide leadership and guidance to committee members.
• Assist WIBF in setting priorities and optimising the use of resources to promote continuous improvements of the operation of WIBF Communications.
• Clearly convey information and ideas, both verbally and in writing that target and engage the appropriate audience, i.e. board, members, partnerships.
