The 2023 Awards for Achievement

We are delighted to launch this year’s Awards for Achievement. And this year is a very special one as it marks the 25th anniversary of the presentation of these awards, with the first winners honoured in 1998. While many award programmes exist today (which we also celebrate), we are in a privileged position given our awards were the very first to focus on the achievements of women in UK financial services workplaces.

We are so glad that they continue to be seen as one of the highest accolades in the industry since they showcase the extraordinary individual talent and reformist corporate initiatives that progress diversity, equity and inclusion in our industry, particularly on the gender equity front.

At this stage, we are ‘only’ sharing the details of the 11 categories so that you have time to take the information away and start to determine what awards you want your name or company initiative put forward for. Details will be shared soon of webinars to join (or watch on demand) which will go into the detail of the awards process and what the judges are looking for from each of the eventual winners.

More details will be published over the coming weeks about our sponsors, the judges and everything else you need to know ahead of our nationwide virtual awards presentation on Tuesday 10 October and the awards in-person celebration on Thursday 12 October 2023. And, this year, the awards will be streamed from Edinburgh, allowing us to hold a cocktail reception on the 10 October in the Scottish capital. Watch this space!
