November 2023 – Siobhan Moran

Every month the Management Board members vote on nominations they put forward for a volunteer that they feel has been particularly dedicated, inspiring or just plain hard-working! It is because of our volunteers and their fantastic commitment to improving gender diversity in financial services that WIBF exists and continues to deliver our mission.

Siobhan Moran was nominated this month by Nicky King, Head of Corporate partnerships and this was seconded by Anna Lane. 

Siobhan joined the Belfast Branch of WIBF in July 2022 and is the Head of Development/ Personal Excellence Programme as well as sitting on the Belfast Board. 

Siobhan has been hosting many of the PEP events over the past year, not just for Belfast and it’s been a joy to watch her become more confident in her presenter/host role.  She has bought the regional PEP leads together with regular meetings and has ensured that we have a full calendar of virtual events from all regions across the UK. 

Nicky King,  nominated Siobhan saying – “Siobhan has worked so hard over the last few months on pulling together all the PEP speakers for the first half of next year, their bios, securing the dates and regions to host and ultimately creating a PEP brochure for us to send out to our corporate partners in order for them to secure a hosting slot.  All of this whilst juggling 2 other day jobs!”
