More news about our 2023 Awards for Achievement with a link to the nominations platform and an exciting announcement about our celebrations.

As 2023 marks over a year of our journey as a social enterprise, we’re keen to recognise the women in finance who contribute to a more equitable and sustainable economy.

You have until 21 July to complete your nominations for the WIBF Awards for Achievement. This year, there are 11 categories – 6 individual and 5 corporate, of which 3 are for large companies and 2 for small and medium enterprises.  You can find out more here or go straight the nomination platform here.

WIBF has evolved from a volunteer-led non-profit to one of the UK’s fastest-growing social enterprises. We’re deeply committed to diversity, inclusion, and creating a significant social impact. We’re thrilled to announce that the venue for our annual awards London party – now somewhat legendary – is the Museum of London Docklands.

Steeped in history, the museum offers a unique blend of past and present – a fitting venue to celebrate the indomitable spirit of women in finance. The Museum of London Docklands is a charity, known for its extensive collection celebrating the ‘Votes for Women’ campaign, and aligns perfectly with our ethos of advocating for gender equality and inclusion

Mark your calendars:

We’re not merely hosting a party – we’re recognising the irreplaceable roles women play in finance and in society, while supporting education, history, and charity. Interested? Contact [email protected] to discuss sponsorship opportunities and register your interest for tickets.

This year, in recognition of the importance of our regional network, the growth in our Scottish boards, volunteers and membership combined with our partnership with Scottish Financial Enterprise we’re expanding our horizons to Edinburgh. On Tuesday 10 October, we’ll broadcast our Digital Lunchtime Awards, followed by a champagne reception and evening celebration hosted by our esteemed corporate partner, Lloyds Banking Group. As with the London event, contact Nicky for sponsorship opportunities and ticket registration, as space will be limited.
