news published date 4 May 2023This month, Anita Kimber was nominated by Jennie Koo, executive board member and head of branches. She said, “Having been appointed to lead the Bristol and South West region, Anita has reinvigorated the south west region through widening the scope of reach, acknowledging the change to working practices since Covid whilst recognising need for in person networking.”
“With the support of a strong regional steering group made of a mixture of both senior and early careers individuals, Anita has helped relaunch WIBF in Bristol and Cardiff with a bang, connecting both individuals and organisations through the power of in person events.”
Anita said, ‘It’s a privilege to lead across our dynamic region of the South West and South Wales. We have the most amazing Steering group and volunteers and together we all know we are fulfilling a real need for women across our industry.’
Anita has also recruited volunteers into the regional board to continues with the ongoing growth and development of the South West region and we look forward to seeing the Bristol and South West region grow further. Thank you Anita!
