Every month the WIBF Management Board members vote on nominations they put forward for a volunteer that they feel has been particularly dedicated, inspiring or just plain hard-working.

This month, Katherine Lee has been nominated by Anna Lane, WIBF President and CEO and seconded by Homy Dyani-Fard as June’s Volunteer of the month.

As Head of Finance for WIBF, she assists the various teams and groups with any financial details and strategies. Katherine is an ICAA Chartered Accountant and has an undergraduate degree as a Bachelor of Accounting from Monash University in Melbourne Australia.

Anna said, “Kathy has been instrumental in transforming our forecasting methods for sales, revenue, and budgeting alongside Homy and myself, introducing innovative approaches to enhance our operational efficiency. Her unique ability to navigate the intricate details of daily tasks while never losing sight of our overarching strategic vision and ambition for WIBF really sets her apart.

Her consistent composure under pressure and her unfailing kindness create an atmosphere of cooperative productivity that reverberates throughout the team. As a colleague, Kathy is a joy to work with. She represents the best of what it means to be a part of WIBF and we count ourselves fortunate to have her on our team.”

Homy added, Kathy is a fantastic asset to any organisation and she has been both diligent, hard working, and always with great ideas to solve problems.

Congratulations Kathy and thank you for your hard work and dedication to WIBF.
