We’re very proud of our Future Leaders shadow board who work tirelessly supporting the WIBF management board. This July, co-chair of the shadow board, Sarah Woodard is our volunteer of the month.

Sarah Woodard is the Co-Chair of the Future Leaders Shadow Board. During her tenure, she has worked tirelessly to drive the key strategic priorities of WIBF in collaboration with the Management Board. She was nominated by Rachel Malik and this was enthusiastically seconded by CEO, Anna Lane.

Sarah has also been instrumental in driving forward initiatives from the different working groups of the Shadow Board, including the Future Leader’s Network and the Student Engagement Strategy.

Sarah takes immense pride in her role as Co-Chair and is dedicated to recruiting the most talented and diverse group of individuals to the Future Leaders Shadow Board. Something for which she is not only recognised by WIBF for doing but also Brummell Magazine, after earlier this month being featured on their 2023 “Ones to Watch” list. A shortlist that recognises the City’s young professionals going above and beyond in their contributions inside and outside of the office.

Sarah, it has been a true honour to serve as Co-Chair for the Future Leaders Shadow Board with you. Sarah is thoughtful and an excellent leader who we can all learn from” – Rachel Malik, Co-Chair of the Future Leaders Shadow Board.
