news published date 2 January 2023This involved launching 5 brand new categories to reflect WIBF’s strategy, the core “pillars” that underpin our proposition and our new social enterprise status, delivering our most successful and diverse awards programme to date. Our social campaign celebrating the shortlists, speakers and winners delivered over 2m impressions and in total 1300+ individuals attended our virtual regional and London awards party. In parallel Karen has been an integral part of the teams delivering both ACT Year 2 comms as well playing an active role in the project to deliver the new WIBF digital platform #noteasy!
Karen is a passionate advocate for gender equality, committed to the WIBF cause and gives up a huge amount of her time to support WIBF’s mission. Anna Lane, WIBF President and CEO said “Personally, I would like to thank Karen for the work she has undertaken to develop a much more strategic and considered external “voice” for WIBF as well as her partnership on these key projects.
