Have your say in our annual members’ survey!

As we launch the 2021 annual members’ survey, we flag why your feedback is really important and what our plans are to include it in our future strategy.

Between 16th June and 12th July 2021, Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF) will hold its annual members’ survey. Now in its third year, the survey is a really important opportunity for you to tell the WIBF management team what you expect from your membership and what we should focus on.

We also ask some questions about you and your background. This is because WIBF would like to be more vocal on your behalf with employers, industry bodies and the government. WIBF is a fantastic organisation with a unique heritage and reach across the UK. However, as we talk about the issues facing females working in financial services we need to be able to demonstrate who we represent – hence the questions.

Why should I take part?

As a member of WIBF, your voice matters. If you don’t speak up, there may be a chance that the activities and events we organise in 2021/22 don’t meet your needs. And, as lockdown restrictions are starting to ease, we are looking to understand how many people will want to attend events in person again.

In addition, we often find that by completing the survey, you may learn something about WIBF that you didn’t know and might prove useful!

What’s changed for this year’s survey?

The survey is very similar to previous years in that we have tried to keep the number of questions relatively low so you can complete all the questions in about five minutes. As before, your feedback will also be used to help us structure the organisation to your needs.

What is different is that we realise that we need to be able show how much we appreciate you participating. As such, this year, those that complete the survey will be entered into a draw with the chance to win The Cream Tea Selection food hamper from Fortnum & Mason, which would be delivered to the lucky participant. The winner will also receive a complimentary one-year individual membership, which they can use themselves and or gift to a family member or friend.

The survey is also available earlier this year than in 2020 and 2019 so we can discuss the findings as part of 2022 strategy discussions. We will then update you on what changes we will make and recommendations we will implement as a result of the survey in October.

How can I take part?

We have emailed our members, but you may have changed your email address and not had chance to updated your details with us. Please note that the survey is just for members. While we appreciate that there may be others who support WIBF, our organisation is funded by our membership fees and so it is important that we ensure that they are given every opportunity to rate our support and ensure we remain relevant.
