I hope you all enjoyed a very happy and restful Christmas and New Year, and feel refreshed and ready for the challenges of 2018. I am delighted to announce that for the second year running, corporate member, Citi, will be the headline sponsor of the WIBF Awards for Achievement.

“Citi’s commitment to the WIBF Awards ensured that last year’s Awards Luncheon was the most successful ever. I know that Citi and WIBF will collaborate with enthusiasm to make sure that the 2018 Awards for Achievement, our 21st, will be just as impressive.

Like WIBF, Citi is dedicated to enabling a diverse and inclusive workplace, enabling women to reach the most senior positions in our sector. Through the WIBF Awards for Achievement we share the stories of impressive nominees and inspiring role models who are given a platform to tell their stories, to share their career highlights – and lows – and to give women in the industry the inspiration to achieve their career goals and realise their individual potential.

Jim Cowles, EMEA CEO, Citi, said:

“Having people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences in our teams brings different perspectives to the table, enhances decision-making, and improves overall business performance. Citi’s continued relationship with WIBF allows us to honour our diversity goals, in-relation to supporting women both at Citi and in the wider financial services industry to ensure female representation continues to grow and is appropriately recognised.”

We look forward to the official launch of the 2018 WIBF Awards for Achievement at Citi’s office in Canary Wharf on Thursday 11th January. Thank you, Citi.

AWARD NOMINATIONS

Now is the time to identify and nominate those amazing women and men with whom you work for one of the five Awards for Achievement. These are the women and those men you work with, who, day by day, facilitate change in our industry; those colleagues who work to make the sector more open to diversity, and more open to achieving the most for banking and finance by allowing all members of society to be the best that they can be.
