Volunteer of the Month – September 2022

Emily has been Glasgow PEP lead since the start of 2021 and has been the driving force behind the mix of PEP events delivered by WIBF Glasgow. More recently she has also taken on the role of Scotland Co-Chair (Glasgow), co-ordinating the WIBF Scotland monthly meetings and ensuring we are all held accountable for our actions and objectives.

Emily leads by example and is always keen to get involved wherever she can.  She never shies away from a challenge and is always one of the first people to volunteer if any ad-hoc tasks need picking up.  Emily has managed all of this whilst also taking on the challenge of a new and exciting role at Tesco Bank. Emily is incredibly passionate about D&I and the promotion of WIBF, we are very lucky to have her as part of our WIBF Scotland team!

Victoria Pringle, previous Glasgow Chair and now WIBF Co-Head of Mentoring, nominated Emily for this recognition and said “Her passion and enthusiasm for WIBF Scotland is a real inspiration, as she continuously looks at ways we can expand our network and mirror the success story of Edinburgh in Glasgow. I’d like to personally thank Emily for all her hard work on the WIBF Scotland Board.”
