A huge thank you to Katharine and Olivia

We say a fond farewell to two of our operations team, Olivia Coyle and Katharine Carleton.

Although WIBF is volunteer-led, we could not manage without the constant and fantastic support of our operations team, which works hard behind the scenes to support our corporate partners, individual members, the various boards, volunteers and, most recently, our first full time employee, Nicky King.

Unfortunately two of that team are moving on: Katharine Carleton to focus on her health and Olivia Coyle who takes up a new role in communications.

Katharine joined WIBF in 2017 and she has actively supported all the many volunteers in their different roles. She has particularly enjoyed meeting lots of us in person and helping to onboard us, and will miss supporting the management and executive boards. Citing that volunteers have come and gone but we have stayed the course, she has promised to follow WIBF’s progress on our ambitious plans for growth.

Olivia Coyle

Olivia’s tenure with WIBF dates back to 2014 and she has always been a great person to work with as we have sought to communicate updates about our WIBF pillars across communities and networking, the WIBF jobs board, mentoring and development and thought leadership. But her diligent support for the Awards for Achievement and the Awards Alumni programmes in recent months will be particularly missed.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Katharine and Olivia and wish them all the best for the future.

And the Ops team carries on with Jackie, Lauren and Helen remaining to support us all. We will keep you updated as we finalise our plans to ensure that WIBF has the right infrastructure in place to stay true to our mission and ensure that we help the UK financial services industry achieve the diversity, equity and inclusion needed to be successful and sustainable over the long term.
