A workshop focussed on the importance of personal values in practice and the impact when they are in place, based on the critically acclaimed book ‘My 31 Practices’.
In this interactive session, Alan Williams will provide an opportunity to take part in a personal values assessment to start to identify personal values, to be able to explain the importance of personal values, the benefits of leading a life aligned with them and the implications of not doing this. You will experience a hands on insight into how to translate personal values into practical behaviour every day.

Alan Williams coaches leaders in service sector organisations, internationally and in the UK, to deliver values-driven service for sustained performance.
He is a published author (two books on the topic of values) whose projects have delivered measurable business impact across a balanced scorecard and has been recognised with industry awards. Alan has applied this approach as a consultant and an employed senior director, in operational and functional support roles and for global blue chip organisations as well as smaller entrepreneurial companies.
He has enjoyed roles with InterContinental Hotels, Barclays Capital, Compass/RBS and Marriott, founding SERVICEBRAND GLOBAL in 2005. Alan graduated in Hotel & Catering Administration at Surrey University where he has been a visiting lecturer, he was a global ‘train the trainer’ for the Marriott International Spirit to Serve programme. He is a Past President of the Meetings Industry Association, a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, a Board member of BQF, a Founder Faculty Member of Culture University, a Steering Group member of the UK Values Alliance and Founder of the Global Values Alliance.
