Women In Banking and Finance were delighted to host an event with Tesco Bank on Personal Branding to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event was held at Tesco Bank’s office at South Gyle, Edinburgh and a mix of Tesco Bank and WIBF members and guests were welcomed in for drinks and canapes before the session started.

Our speaker, Lorna Hudson was then introduced by both Will Curley, Director of Transactional Banking at Tesco Bank and Christine Craig, WIBF Board Member.

People make slip-judgements based on first impressions every day and Lorna, who is one of the leading Personal Marketing Experts in the UK, gave our audience the opportunity to identify how they wish to come across and discussed some of the signals that they give to ensure that they are consistent with this objective to increase confidence in how they are coming across to help strengthen reputation and personal impact to achieve their career goals.

Lorna was enthusiastic, entertaining and kept our audience engaged throughout this highly interactive session with tips on defining how they want to come across and aligning this to desired and actual impressions created through how they look, sound, behave and ultimately project.
