In the highly competitive world of finance most of us are unaware that we are judged within seven seconds on how trustworthy and competent we are; that our body language can have four times more impact on the first impression we make than any other factor.

We were delighted to be joined by Cindy Ferrara, former Citigroup MD now executive coach, speaker and consultant.

A highly energetic workshop on how body language can have a significantly more impact on first impressions than the spoken word. From a simple handshake you can demonstrate confidence, warmth, competence and trustworthiness. We all know making eye contact is important but how often can you remember the colour of someone’s eyes after you’ve given a handshake?

This powerful workshop tested how our body language impact on what others remember of you and how to avoid those body language lies.

Cindy gave the opportunity of a one month challenge to attendees to help focus on a goal. Putting the theory from the workshop into practice will be the key measure of success.

We hope to invite Cindy back in the future for a follow up session to work with individuals on their personal career goals.
