An Interview with Rick Hunkin, CRO
WIBF have the pleasure of hosting a high profile speaker event with seasoned CRO Rick Hunkin, a very familiar face within Scotland’s financial services. Our interview will focus on Rick’s career journey with insights and anecdotes from his experiences in New Zealand and the UK, along with Rick’s views on diversity and the particular workplace challenges faced by women. We are thrilled to be speaking to Rick in what promises to be an enlightening and entertaining evening.

Post the 2007/08 crisis Rick was one of a small senior group hired to resolve issues at Northern Rock and (on the same recovery theme) subsequently also went on to join the Executive team leading the establishment of Williams and Glyn, part of the RBS EU remediation programme. He is currently the Group Chief Risk Officer of Provident Financial plc, an organisation which has been facing its own issues of late….
