Gwen Faure
Gwen was a Partner in PwC Hong Kong’s Consulting practice, and co-led the women’s network for PwC in Hong Kong for 4 years. Gwen supports international financial services clients with delivering transformation programmes, where her role often includes ensuring global programmes are delivered with alignment with local regulatory requirements in the Asia Pacific markets. Gwen’s particular focus in these programmes is always on the impact on the teams and people involved, and how the programmes can help individuals be more effective.
Currently Gwen is particularly involved in the Future of Work, and as an anthropologist, has been intrigued by how the future workplace dynamics will bring fundamental changes to how we work, where we work, and essentially, what “work” will mean in the future. She is supporting initiatives in youth employment and bringing mental health wellbeing into the corporate environment.
Gwen is passionate about women empowerment. She has been heavily supporting gender equality initiatives since 2016. She currently serves as a Board member of the Women’s Foundation in Hong Kong. She has been an advisory council member for the TWF mentoring programme since 2018, and she was involved in the joint TWF/PwC study of Gender Diversity in the Hong Kong Financial Services Sector in 2018.
For WIBF, Gwen is supporting the Mentoring programme as well as the delivery of research of the ACT programme.
