WIBF strengthens Executive Board with the appointments of Joanna Scott and Sabree Kansagra

Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF) is delighted to announce the appointments of Joanna Scott as Chief People Officer and Sabree Kansagra as Chief Operating Officer to its Executive Board.

Joanna and Sabree join Chief Executive Officer Vicky Soden, Chief Financial Officer Diya Patel and Head of Branches Jennie Koo, Co-Chair of WIBF Birmingham & Midlands, as part of the Executive Board leading the organisation through its next chapter.

Joanna Scott brings extensive senior HR leadership experience across financial services and international organisations. As Head of People Services at the National Wealth Fund, she leads operational HR, including reward, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition and HR operations, while helping shape an inclusive, diverse-by-design workforce. Her background spans reward, organisational transformation, HR operations and pension governance, bringing significant expertise in developing people strategies that enable organisations to thrive.

Sabree Kansagra joined WIBF as Chief Operating Officer in March 2026. A Chartered Accountant, she brings experience from KPMG and Interpath Advisory, where she supported organisations through complex strategic, operational and transformational challenges. Alongside her professional career, she is co-founder of Friendsline International, a charity dedicated to the wellbeing of women and girls. Sabree brings a strong focus on governance, data, operational excellence and sustainable delivery, helping ensure WIBF is well positioned to achieve its long-term ambitions.

Together, Joanna and Sabree further strengthen WIBF’s Executive Board, bringing complementary expertise in people, operations and organisational transformation as the organisation continues to evolve under its new strategy.

Their appointments reinforce WIBF’s commitment to building a strong, sustainable organisation that supports its members, volunteers and partners while continuing to champion gender equity across financial services.
