WIBF awards 2026: Celebrating impact, looking ahead

For nearly three decades, the WIBF Awards for Achievement have recognised the individuals and organisations driving progress across financial services. They have become a key event on our calendar and a powerful way to celebrate talent and leadership and the impact they have on our industry.

In 2026, the awards programme will take a different form.

Following recent leadership changes and the formation of the WIBF Leadership Council, we have taken the decision to pause the awards for one year. This pause is a deliberate and strategic choice, creating an opportunity to reflect on how the awards can evolve and ensure they can maximise their impact in the years ahead.

This is not a step back, but an opportunity to strengthen what comes next.

Awards Alumni Recognition Month – November 2026

To ensure we still recognise talent, we will be launching an Awards Alumni Recognition Month in November. This will be a month-long campaign dedicated to celebrating the achievements and ongoing impact of WIBF award winners over the past 27 years.

Throughout November, we will share:

• Alumni spotlights and profiles 
• Interviews and video content 
• Thought leadership and industry insights 
• Social media storytelling 

This approach allows us to celebrate not just a moment in time, but the lasting impact of the Awards across nearly three decades. It also provides an opportunity to reconnect with alumni, members and partners, and to showcase the role the wider WIBF community has played in supporting that success.

Looking ahead to 2027

We are planning for the WIBF Awards to return in November 2027, maintaining their established position in the calendar.

The success of the WIBF Awards for Achievement has always been a collective effort. From nominees and winners to volunteers, partners and supporters, the programme has been shaped by the wider WIBF community.

We look forward to celebrating that shared impact throughout November 2026 and to building the next chapter of the awards together.
