WIBF appoints Nishma Gosrani OBE as Chair of the Board

Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) is delighted to announce the appointment of Nishma Gosrani OBE as Chair of the Board, effective immediately.

Nishma is a highly respected business leader with a track record of advising global Financial Services institutions on complex strategy and transformation. A Partner at Bain & Company, she brings decades of leadership experience across financial services and professional services. In 2022, she was awarded an OBE.

Nishma also works closely with UK Government, and co-authored the Women in Finance Charter Blueprint, in collaboration with Amanda Blanc DBE, CEO of Aviva. This landmark piece of work provides a clear roadmap for firms seeking to make meaningful progress in gender representation at senior levels.

Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment for WIBF, as the organisation continues to grow its influence, build cross-sector partnerships, and support women at every stage of their careers. As Chair, Nishma will guide the Board in shaping WIBF’s long-term strategy and strengthening its position as a leading voice in the industry.
