Subhi, Claudia, Felicity and Fiorela – April 2026

We are delighted to recognise our April Volunteers of the Month — and our very first group recipients of this recognition.

A huge congratulations to Subhi Hossain, Claudia Watkins, Felicity Towler and Fiorela Marra, who were nominated by Sarah Gresty for the fantastic impact they have made together.

WIBF is built on collaboration, and this team is a powerful example of what can be achieved when volunteers come together with a shared purpose.

With Subhi’s vision — and the support of Claudia, Felicity and Fiorela – the London socials have become a vibrant and consistent part of our programme. Attracting 40–50 attendees each month, these events bring members, volunteers and newcomers together in a welcoming, engaging and inclusive environment.

As WIBF’s new CEO, Vicky Soden has particularly valued attending these events, recognising them as an important way to connect with members and volunteers, understand what the community is looking for, and gather ideas and inspiration for the future. These events not only bring people together, but also help shape the direction of the organisation.

The impact of this team’s work is clear. They are strengthening connections across the industry, creating an accessible entry point for potential members, and delivering high-quality, uplifting events that colleagues can rely on month after month.

This small team has made a big impact – building community, widening engagement and showcasing WIBF at its very best.
