Lucy Lepore – March 2026
news published date 8 April 2026We are delighted to recognise Lucy Lepore, Deputy Co-Chair of WIBF’s Bristol and South-West branch, as our Volunteer of the Month for March.
This recognition celebrates the time, energy and commitment our volunteers bring to WIBF, and Lucy’s contribution has already made a strong impact in revitalising the region.
Nominated by Deborah Wilson, Lucy was recognised for delivering a standout event in March at Rathbones Greenbank in Bristol. The event marked an important moment for the branch, as the first to be organised exclusively by a WIBF volunteer as part of efforts to re-energise activity in the South-West.
Despite being new to WIBF, Lucy led the event almost single-handedly. From sourcing speakers to managing delivery, she brought together a high-quality panel representing a broad range of experience. The discussion successfully balanced perspectives from those earlier in their careers with insights from professionals with decades of specialist expertise, creating an engaging and valuable experience for attendees.
The strength of Lucy’s preparation was evident throughout. The event was well attended, with a full room and a professional, welcoming atmosphere. It ran seamlessly, reflecting the thought and care that had gone into every detail.
Lucy’s initiative, enthusiasm and commitment are a fantastic example of the impact volunteers can have in shaping WIBF’s regional communities.
Thank you, Lucy, for everything you are doing to build momentum in Bristol and the South-West. We look forward to seeing what you and the team achieve next.
