Lucy Ellis-Keeler new Co-Chair of the Future Leaders’ Shadow Board

We are delighted to announce Lucy Ellis-Keeler as the new Co-Chair of the Future Leaders’ Shadow Board, alongside Sarah Woodard.

Lucy takes the reins from Rachel Malik who has made the decision to relocate to San Francisco to pursue a very exciting job opportunity. We send huge thanks for her time as Co-Chair of the FLSB. She has made an incredible impact during her tenure and we have all thoroughly enjoyed working with her.

Rachel will remain on the FLSB for the remainder of the year overseeing some key initiatives and we are delighted to continue receiving her input.

Lucy covers Commodities as part of the EMEA Markets Compliance team at Citi. She upholds regulatory standards to support the growth of the business. She is passionate about ESG, and is a former Fellow of the Climate Safe Lending Network. Prior to joining Citi in 2021, Lucy held a number of roles at Bank of America, providing invaluable support to the Global Transaction Services business within the Compliance Advisory team. She also contributed to the management of the Compliance Program, helping deliver key projects, including Brexit.

Since joining the FLSB in November 2022, Lucy‘s strategic and execution-driven approach has led to successes in the Thematic and Strategic Events program, as well as the Student Engagement strategy. Lucy supports gender equity through her work leading Citi’s relationship with female employment charity, Smart Works. She also supports the Chairs of the EMEA Citi Women steering committee, delivering a “Power Walks” program in celebration of International Women’s Day, which has reached over 600 attendees in over 25 countries. She is passionate about empowering the next generation of talent within financial services, working with mentees from the Mayor of London Entrepreneurship Fund and Career Ready. She also delivers cross-industry mentoring walks as part of the Young Leadership Council with Vital Voices, a grassroots organisational who support women’s rights globally—legally, economically and socially.
