Each month the Management Board members vote on nominations they put forward for a volunteer that they feel has been particularly dedicated, inspiring or just plain hard-working. This month Emma Graham was selected as volunteer of the month for August.

Emma Graham is a member of the WIBF Scotland Board (Glasgow branch). As well as taking an instrumental role on the WIBF Scotland Board she has been supporting Victoria Pringle, (who nominated Emma) on the Mentoring programme. Emma initially joined as individual membership lead and put in place a communications strategy to target new members across Scotland.

More recently she’s taken over the role as PEP lead and has a number of events in the pipeline, including the #IamRemarkable event this month. Victoria said, “Emma is a commitment member of WIBF Scotland and ensures her attendance at all our in-person events. It is fantastic to have her as part of our growing team.

WIBF President, Anna Lane added. “The #IamRemarkable event is just one testament to the energy and vision you bring to our community. It’s heartwarming to witness such dedication and I am genuinely excited for what’s ahead with you on our team. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and innovative ideas are driving change, and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
