The 35 women and men shortlisted for this year’s Women in Banking and Finance Awards for Achievement 2020 were revealed today.

The prestigious annual Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) Awards for Achievement celebrate the accomplishments of women working in the financial services sector today.

Vivienne Artz, President of WIBF, said:

=Congratulations to every one of the shortlisted nominees for our 23rd  Annual Awards. Yet again, we received more nominations than ever before, and there was intense competition to make the shortlist. These 35 women and men have all demonstrated their commitment to diversity and improving gender balance in the financial services sector; they have made, and continue to make, the sector an inclusive and more inspirational place to work. They are exceptional colleagues who are enabling others to flourish alongside them.

2020 is an incredibly special year for Women in Banking and Finance; it marks forty years of our network, and forty years of working together to improve gender inclusion. These Awards remind us that there is remarkable work and progress taking place every single day, year after year, creating an industry where everyone can flourish and achieve their career potential.

We are experiencing unique challenges at this time, when everyone is working and living under intensely difficult circumstances.  To have the opportunity to recognize the shortlist candidates in these times is an inspiration and honour.

The winners of the 2020 WIBF Awards for Achievement will be announced at the WIBF Awards Luncheon on the new date of Wednesday 9th September. Sponsored by longstanding WIBF member, Citi, the Luncheon will be held at the London Guildhall from noon.
