WIBF’s Rachel Harbers and Yulia Manyutina win WeAreTheCity Rising Stars Awards

We were delighted to learn that WIBF team members Rachel Harbours and Yulia Manyutina have been honoured with We Are The City Rising Star Awards.

The Rising Star awards were introduced to showcase the UK pipeline of female talent below management and to create female 100 role models across different industries and professions.

Rachel, who co-chairs the WIBF Future Leaders Shadow Board joined WIBF in 2019 and played a key role in recruiting other women with under 10 years experience in finance to the Future Leaders Shadow Board who work closely with WIBF’s Management Board. In 2020 was Secretary to the Nominations Committee recruiting WIBF’s next President.

Rachel relocated from Sydney, Australia to London, UK in October 2018 with Morgan Stanley and is a Product Manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and has held roles across personal banking, corporate asset finance, private wealth management and investment management.

Yulia is the only female regulated Private Banker at Coutts, covering the European and American markets and looks after some of the wealthiest and most high-profile families in the region. She has experience of attracting new businesses within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector, as well as in structuring complex multi-million lending deals for FTSE 100 companies. Originally from Russia, she speaks 4 languages and has lived in a number of different countries.

Yulia joined the WIBF Future Leaders Shadow board in April this year and also sits on the Strategy Committee. She is a winner in The Rising Star category for Banking and Capital Markets. You can read more from Yulia here.
