WIBF Millennials Team Nominated for Rising Star Awards

We are delighted to report that Giselle Frederick and Linda Esilaba have both been nominated for Rising Star Awards by We Are The City

“Giselle and Linda who co head the WIBF Millennials ​Initiative have been nominated for awards in the ‘Entrepreneur & Start Ups’ and ‘Diversity’ categories respectively.

Linda is currently working as a Business Manager in Barclays for Macro with a focusing on Regulatory Implementation for the front office. Her team plays an integral role in providing commercial guidance and client-focus on Regulatory projects impacting the business. Most recently, she supported the delivery of MiFID II and GDPR, ensuring challenges for the business as a result of these two new regulations were identified, well understood and the eventual handover to BAU owners was planned for, communicated and executed.

Giselle is the Founder and CEO of Zingr, a FinTech startup providing solutions to the unbanked. Built on Blockchain technology, Zingr reduces the cost of accepting and making payments through an app that makes online and peer-to-peer payments seamless, fast and secure. Zingr solutions also embeds AML, Digital KYC and Money Management and Financial Literacy Tools.
