WIBF attends Herald and GenAnalytics National Diversity Awards Dinner

Held in Glasgow on October 12th 2017, WIBF`s Glasgow and Edinburgh branches hosted a table with guests from Morgan Stanley, Scott Moncrieff and Clydesdale Bank for a great evening celebrating diversity across companies, organisations, individuals, third sector organisations and community groups.Â

“Over 300 guests attended the event at the Radisson Blu hotel in Glasgow including WIBF’s Laura Thorburn, Maria Dickson from the Glasgow Board and Niamh Simms and Joanne Seagrave from the Edinburgh Board.

These awards recognise the outstanding success of companies, organisations, individuals, third sector organisations and community groups who are demonstrating a strong commitment and track record of achievement in ensuring that everyone in our society has the opportunity to fulfil their ambitions, aspirations and potential.

Laura Thorburn, WIBF’s co branch president for Glasgow said “the awards showcased and celebrated best practice from those organisations and individuals who are working to address challenges and develop a truly diverse and inclusive workforce, community and overall society. WIBF are delighted to once again support these awards and continue to influence change across our membership and beyond. The awards are inspirational and provide further motivation to continually evolve.”
