Vivienne Artz awarded an OBE

Please join us in congratulating Vivienne Artz, former Women in Banking and Finance President and CEO on being recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list with an OBE for services to financial services and gender diversity.

This phenomenal honour reflects Vivienne’s tireless championing of women in financial services and her dedication as a role model of change for a more inclusive sector. Under her leadership Women in Banking & Finance has grown from strength to strength and she truly personifies the values of WIBF; connecting, challenging and inspiring our members to bring a gender lens to financial services.

Vivienne said; I am humbled to be awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours 2021, for services to financial services and gender diversity. It has been my pleasure and privilege to have the opportunity to work with so many extraordinary people in my role as President and CEO of Women in Banking & Finance, and as Chief Privacy Officer at Refinitiv, to help connect, challenge and inspire our network to unlock the full potential of financial services for all. Women in Banking & Finance has been championing women in financial services for 40 years through our volunteering, inspiring, and action oriented approach to doing business with a gender lens to drive gender equality in their own organisations, and in the communities they serve. A huge thank you to all the members and volunteers at Women in Banking & Finance for your dedication and passion to gender inclusion over the years, and to my colleagues at Refinitiv for your support for Women in Banking and Finance and your focus on data and the insights it drives, aimed at creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can achieve their full potential .
