THREE NEW APPOINTMENTS TO WOMEN IN BANKING AND FINANCE EXECUTIVE BOARD

Women in Banking and Finance is delighted to announce that three new Executive Board members will be joining the team.

Cristina Serrano, Santander, has been appointed WIBF Director of Membership

Manisha Dass, IT Consultant, has been appointed WIBF Co-director of Programmes

Maria Dickson, Morgan Stanley, has been appointed WIBF Chief Operating Officer

All appointments take effect immediately.

BIOGRAPHIES
 
CRISTINA SERRANO is the Head of Multinationals FIG Team at Santander Global Corporate Bank, in charge of the institutional relationships of international financial institutions in the UK: Banks, Insurers and Asset Managers.

Cristina has been at the Santander Group since 2007 when she initially joined the domestic broker Banesto Bolsa as Head of Trading & Sales trading and member of the executive committee.

After the full integration of Banesto into Santander, in 2013, she joined the Financial Institutions Team at the wholesale bank and set up the multinationals coverage, initially in Spain and then in UK when she relocated to London in early 2015.

Prior to Santander Group, Cristina Serrano was a senior equity trader at Merrill Lynch where she worked for 10 years.

Cristina is also on the Board of Governors of Marymount International School as a non-executive director.  She has two postgraduate degrees, an Executive MBA by the IE Business School and a master’s degree in Portfolio Management by the IEB, Spain.

MANISHA DASS is a senior leader with extensive experience in the Technology and Professional Services industry, specialising in setting and implementing the strategic direction of Service & Transition Management. Managing global business transformation programs helping organisations to grow into profitable businesses and achieve successful outcomes.

Recognised for delivering improvements, building key relationships and Stakeholder Management in a customer focused environment, and managing large-scale change to deliver on company and business objectives.

Manisha is passionate about driving organisational values, culture change, and is a strong advocate for Diversity & Inclusion and Women in Technology. She is involved in supporting many initiatives to encourage and inspire young talent about careers in Technology. Manisha is a former committee member at the Anita Borg Institute (ABI).

MARIA DICKSON is passionate about delivering transformational change with over 17 years experience of delivering change programmes comprising elements of people, process and technology. Maria has extensive experience of capital markets having worked within investment banks, exchanges and clearing houses across both operations and technology. Maria spent 12 years working in London as a senior consultant for management consulting firms Accenture and PA Consulting. She moved to Scotland and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 after a year living and working in Sydney where she worked at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).”
