Encore!, one of Barclays’ flagship diversity and citizenship programs, helps individuals who have taken a career break prepare to re-enter the workforce. Barclays values diversity of experience and perspective among its talent and views Encore! as a way to achieve this.

We are now accepting applications for Barclays’ 12-week Encore! program in New York, Whippany, London, Birmingham and Manchester offices until 8 November, 2018. Selected participants will join the program beginning 15 January 2019 to 5 April 2019.

Encore! provides returners with the opportunity to refresh their skills through leadership and development training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and a paid working role for the program’s duration. Qualified candidates with strong performance are eligible to be considered for full-time roles based on availability and mutual interest.

The program was established in 2016, and it has expanded in size and locations across India, UK, and US offices since launch.

Applicant requirements:

• Achieved the equivalent of a VP level or above when previously in the workforce.
• Must have taken at least a one-year career break.
• Be able to commit to working full-time in the Barclays’ London, Birmingham or Manchester offices for the full 12 weeks and have an interest in a full-time position with Barclays after the program ends.
