June is a real highpoint in the WIBF calendar, as we look forward to the 21st Annual Awards for Achievement luncheon on 15 June.  All the tables are sold, with a record number of attendees and nominees.  It promises to be a fantastic event!

Interview with Susan Allen

Santander hosted a most enjoyable evening with Susan Allen, Head of Retail Distribution, Santander and member of the WIBF Advisory Board, who shared her experiences and insights of her impressive journey in financial services, and her many television appearances!  We all took away valuable nuggets to apply in our own career journeys. BODIT18 Hackathon

Teaming up with Lloyds Banking Group, the Banking on Diversity in Technology Hackathon was the second such event which inspired through the panel discussions, and delivered tangible actions through the work of the Hackathon teams.  A unique event which got the creative juices going, with some tremendous contributions from everyone, and especially the men in the room.

Shortlist Dinner
I was delighted to attend the Shortlist Dinner on 24 May, hosted by Lloyds Banking Group, with such an impressive gathering of women “who do”.  Each of the short-listers are role models, not only within their team and firms, but across the industry.  The buzz and excitement in the room was terrific, as the top talent gathered took the opportunity to enjoy their achievement, meet their fellow short-listers, and create new networks of amazing women from across the sector.  It was a fabulous and memorable evening – thank you Lloyds!
