We are now recruiting for the voluntary positions of Director of Membership and Co-Director of Programmes

Co-Director of Programmes

The WIBF Executive Board is seeking a highly motivated, strategic thinking individual to take over the role of Co-Director of Programmes to work alongside Liz Hughes.

This is an fantastic opportunity for a member to be part of the WIBF executive board focusing on a key part of WIBF’s offering, the London Programmes. The Programmes include PEP, Women on Board, Networks, Millenial Women, Hot Topics, High Profile Speakers, Alumni, Mentoring and Corporate Roundtables.

As part of this voluntary role we are looking for an individual to:

  • Be responsible for all activities required within Programmes based in London
  • Attend regular board meetings providing strategic advice and reporting Programme progress
  • Attend and lead events i.e. open and close events on behalf of WIBF
  • Interview, appoint and manage WIBF members to the London Programmes Committee (which is currently a team of 18 members)
  • Provide leadership to the Programmes chairs and committee members to ensure that Programmes are delivered on time and on budget, where appropriate
  • Conduct initial meetings with potential speakers and explore WIBF event collaborations.
  • Undertake speaking opportunities on behalf of WIBF.

Director of Membership

The WIBF Executive Board are looking for someone to take over the role of Director of Membership. This role includes a place on the WIBF Executive Board and offers an exciting opportunity to help shape strategy for both individual and corporate membership. This is a voluntary position for someone ideally with Sales/human resources & human capital/commercial experience.

Main duties include:

  • Develop and execute against the WIBF membership strategy for both corporate and individual members
  • Provide strategic advice and summary reports to the WIBF Directors and Executive Board
  • Work in close collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Marketing/Partnerships and Directors of Programmes specifically to develop the membership relationships; help organise the corporate
  • breakfast, thought leadership and hot topic events; obtain member feedback; manage and supervise the membership team volunteers
  • Assist the President to devise the strategy to enhance relationships with existing corporate and individual members, and to attract new corporate and individual members and strategic partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to ensure WIBF has key marketing materials to provide to potential new members and partners
  • Determine strategic options to retain and grow membership, select those to be pursued, and decide the means to implement and support them
  • Work with, manage and inspire the Corporate Member and the Individual Member volunteer teams.
