Unconscious Bias Workshop

Venue: Faraday Hall, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Communications and Applied Behavioural Studies Department (CABS) will hold a conference and a number of practical workshops on Unconscious Bias. The event will be supported by X-Forces Enterprise who enable the Armed Forces Community to be the BEST in Business with partners in Government, Charities and Big Business.

The event explores Unconscious Bias through a number of central lectures and practical workshops led by academics and leading thinkers.  Delegates will have the opportunity to attend three different practical workshops which they will sign up for on the day. The day programme will include:

  • Informative and practical sessions delivered by RMAS SME Behavioural Science academics.
  • Practical techniques to use individually and in organisations.
  • Aide-memoires to take away.
  • Your chance to explore issues and share good practice.
  • The aims of the day are to:
  • Explore Unconscious Bias; what it means and its importance to inclusivity and diversity
  • Support employers in the provision of Continued Professional Development
  • Facilitate an academically led exploration of current and new areas of Unconscious Bias
