Calls for application for new President of WIBF – deadline extended to 22 December 2016

WIBF is a prominent and successful national network for women at all stages of their career in the banking and finance sectors. A not-for-profit organisation, WIBF is staffed primarily by voluntary Executive and Management Committees. WIBF corporate members include global financial services companies, major banks and firms servicing the industry.

“Over the past year, the current President and Executive Board have orchestrated tremendous and effective growth for WIBF. There are more Platinum corporate members than ever before and silver level corporate membership has been removed as corporate members recognise the value of a high-level relationship with WIBF. The number of individual members has also grown. WIBF’s Personal Excellence Programme (PEP) and Mentoring programme are oversubscribed. Places for the 2015 Awards Luncheon sold out months in advance, so in 2016 the Awards Luncheon moved to the London Hilton on Park Lane where more members could join to celebrate the achievements of women working in banking and finance today. A new website and new branding has given WIBF a visible, forward-looking identity which has been reflected in all marketing materials and the WIBF magazine.

This growth is testament that members, both corporate and individual, want to be part of what Women in Banking and Finance is all about. WIBF’s ambitions for the coming year are to provide increasingly targeted, high-quality programmes and support for a growing number of members, both individual and corporate, to grow WIBF’s presence in regions where the network is already represented and to expand WIBF’s footprint into other locations as well.

WIBF now wants to recruit a new President with ambition for the network and the skills to continue improving and expanding WIBF once the current President steps down from her role at the end of the year.

We are looking for a President with the experience, skills and ambition needed to lead WIBF, as set out in the Job Description attached.

This is a voluntary role with a time commitment of 2.5 days a month.
