About this year's awards

The WIBF awards were the first in the UK to focus on the achievements of women and on initiatives by financial and professional services firms to help ensure gender equity progresses. These celebrations allow us to recognise the efforts of individuals who continue to drive change today. We are proud to present the WIBF Awards in Birmingham for the second consecutive year! The evening promises to be a mix of celebration and an opportunity to network with a variety of industry leaders and professionals across the region and beyond. We hope you can join us!

Starting at 5:30pm, we will be opening with a performance from a selection of the inspiring Pop Voices Choir, an all inclusive choir featuring individuals of all abilities and ages, who received six "yes" votes from the Britain's Got Talent judges in season 18.

We will also be joined by the formidable Karen Elliott - Chair/Professor in Finance & FinTech, University of Birmingham as our guest speaker who will host a flash discussion on AI and hypothosise about the future impact in Financial Services.

Generously hosted by NatWest Accelerator, the evening of flash speeches, networking and celebrations will join a live stream from our London ceremony as the awards are announced and we can celebrate along with any local winners receiving their trophies.

The NSPCC, our charity partner for this year's awards, will join us to talk about the local work they support and there will also be a raffle with all proceeds going to the NSPCC.

Tickets include the chance to join the debate, network with leaders and peers in the industry, food, drinks and music.

Following the awards ceremony, Albert Schloss are generously hosting an exclusive after party with welcome drinks at their Chamberlain Square venue, just a short walk from the NatWest Accelerator - separate registration for this is a must. Our dress code for this year for all our locations is A Splash of Green. A colour strongly associated with the suffragette movement and that symbolised hope, we want our awards to channel the aspirations and determination to see change of all those who paved the way for women to be able to take their rightful place in society.

Please note there will be a photographer present throughout the ceremony and celebrations. If you do not wish to be photographed, please make the photographer aware.
