About this year's awards

The WIBF awards were the first in the UK to focus on the achievements of women and on initiatives by financial and professional services firms to help ensure gender equity progresses. And we are working to make sure this year’s awards are also very special. WIBF Scotland are proud to present the WIBF Awards, in Scotland! Join us at Phoenix for an evening of celebrating our successes in Scotland. The celebrations will also allow us the chance to recognise the efforts of individuals who continue to drive change today.

This event is kindly co-hosted by Jackie Leiper (Chief Customer and Distribution Officer) at LBG and Tamar Hughes (Talent, Development and Inclusion Director) at Phoenix. This will be an evening of flash speeches, networking and celebrating our successes in Scotland. There will be a raffle with all proceeds going to NSPCC and this will be a great opportunity to network with others in the industry

Our dress code for this year for all our locations is A Splash of Purple given the colour is strongly associated with the suffragette movement and since we want to channel the courage and spirit of women who paved the way for women to be able to take their rightful place in society as individuals.

Please note, there will be a photographer present throughout the ceremony and celebrations, if you do not wish to be photographed please make the photographer aware.
