Speakers

Claire is a highly accomplished professional with 28 years of experience in Financial Services, spanning multiple disciplines. She has excelled across numerous divisions of LBG, currently working in a department which supports customers in financial difficulty, and she embraces the challenges and opportunities of a dynamic, evolving career. In addition to her professional achievements, which include her achievement of a MBA Masters degree in Business Management at Henley University, Claire actively supports the SEC across various workstreams and mentors the director of a local charity and sits on their Board in an advisory capacity. A dedicated advocate for inclusion and diversity, she is committed to driving equitable representation and meaningful change and is very passionate and committed to supporting her colleagues to achieve their potential.

Rachael Stevenson is a highly motivated Change Manager with over nine years of experience in financial services, currently serving as Concierge Onboarding Operations Manager within Executive Recruitment at Lloyds Banking Group. Rachael specialises in driving strategic change, performance enablement, and digital transformation, with a particular passion for embedding inclusive, data-driven practices that elevate colleague experience and foster cultural change. Throughout her career, Rachael has led impactful initiatives, including designing and implementing a hyper-personalised executive onboarding process. Her expertise spans stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, and consulting for senior leaders on best practices and emerging trends.

Neil works as an Anti-Money Laundering Screening Officer and has been in banking for over 14 years. Living with Dwarfism and having faced biases throughout his career and personal life, he is passionate about advocating for others and creating inclusive spaces Neil was shortlisted for Mentor of the Year at Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF) this year, reflecting his commitment to supporting colleagues and helping them thrive.

Amy McDaid is Head Product Owner for Debit Card & Payments at Lloyds Banking Group; leading multidisciplinary tech teams on a mission to help >27 million consumer, business & commercial customers pay across Visa Europe’s largest debit card issuer portfolio. Straddling legacy & modern technology, her focus is on relentlessly delivering for customers at pace. Amy has worked at LBG for 10 years across strategy, commercial & agile roles, gaining recognition & followership for her infectiously positive, collaborative & disciplined leadership. Amy is passionate about advocating for inclusivity in the Financial Services industry, especially in Scotland where she is based, believing it to be an enriching & vibrant place to work. At LBG Amy has been involved in supporting gender & talent networks, as well as mentoring. Externally Amy previously served as Chair of the Scottish Financial Enterprise Young Professionals Committee. She is delighted to have recently joined the WIBF Scotland Board, supporting partnerships & relationship management.

Zubie Chaston is driven by a passion for empowering people to thrive. With over 20 years of experience in financial services across the UK, she is Senior Risk Business Partner at Tesco Insurance and Money Services. Her career spans critical roles in banking and insurance, underpinned by a commitment to building resilient, people-focused teams. A dedicated advocate for mentoring, Zubie has supported individuals through both formal programmes and informal relationships, believing that learning is a shared journey. She champions a people-first approach, seeing investment in others as the foundation for high-performing, inclusive cultures. As Gender Equality Network SteerCo Lead, Zubie brings a unique perspective on how risk and equality intersect to shape business strategy.
Beyond work, Zubie finds inspiration in Scotland’s landscapes, where hiking offers space for reflection and accomplishment.
