Event overview

In this leadership session we will explore the notions of diversity and inclusion in more depth, giving you the opportunity to work alongside participants on articulating your vision of how to be an inclusive leader.

Bookings are closed for this event.

In association with Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF) this leadership session explored the notions of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Katrin Homer, Director at Value Partnership (a GC Partner) and Nathan Ott, CEO at The GC Index, explored with participants of where we are currently at with inclusive leadership and what actions each and every one of us can take to be a more inclusive leader.

Katrin and Nathan provided the forum with an innovative tool and framework that helps leaders to be truly inclusive leaders, allowing them to pay attention to and value the different contributions people make in business. In fact, because the framework works on the level of the individual, teams and departments as well as whole organisations it is also called on ‘organimetric’. Katrin and Nathan presented the five proclivities of The GC Index and enabled participants to think about which preferences their companies would foster and which of them they might be lacking.

The session culminated in showing the forum the aggregate data of their own GC Index profiles (which they were asked to respond to before the session) and asking participants to explore in groups questions such as: What are this group’s natural strengths and weaknesses? What is this group likely to pay least attention to? What would a new joiner’s experience be of this group?

Katrin and Nathan loved this thought-provoking event and are grateful to the active participation they had in the room and the high amount of positive feedback afterwards. Special thanks to WiBF for the invitation and to Mizuho Bank for hosting everybody and making the networking afterwards such a great experience.

Please note: For anybody who would like to have a personal coaching & feedback session on their GC Index profile with Katrin Homer, all details are in the pdf attached, on page 25. If you haven’t had chance yet and you would like to take The GC Index assessment, we will leave the link open for another week, so please go ahead and click here to take it.
