Event overview

WIBF and Macquarie are pleased to invite you to a panel event to discuss the implications of the UN Climate Change agreement signed in Glasgow as well as the ‘Post COP26’ world and the best steps forward for sustainable finance.

Bookings are closed for this event.

COP26 was the most important climate meeting since the Paris agreement in 2015 and was seen by many as the last chance to avoid a climate crisis. Can countries deliver on the agreement reached at the Summit and was the package of measures agreed far reaching enough?

Women in Banking and Finance and Macquarie are pleased to invite you to view this event where the panel discuss the implications of the UN Climate Change agreement signed in Glasgow as well as the ‘Post COP26’ world and the best steps forward for sustainable finance.

At this event which is part of WIBF’s Thought Leadership series, in collaboration with WIBF’s Next Gen Stewardship hub, industry leaders from Diageo, Munich Re and Macquarie discuss the outcome of the COP26 conference, green opportunities, climate pathways, the role of central banks and technology and highlight the role of women in the climate transition.
