On Tuesday 3rd December, WIBF London hosted its annual Christmas supper at Brown’s Old Jewry, a beautiful and historic city building close to the Bank of England which once housed the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. We were pleased to host a fantastic group of around 20 women, including long-time members as well as new more recent joiners.
The evening kicked-off with glasses of bubbly, followed by a lovely three course meal. The desert selection was particularly indulgent, including caramel profiterols, a very special dark chocolate tort, and the traditional Christmas pudding! Conversation flowed throughout the evening as our members got to know each other in a merry setting. It was great to hear positive feedback about several WIBF initiatives in 2019, and to receive some early suggestions for 2020.
The dinner ended on a festive note as we pulled Christmas crackers and the bravest adorned themselves with colourful crowns for a group photo!
With huge thanks to all those who participated this year, we’re already looking forward to next Christmas…
