Women on Board – Welcoming Trustees
Have you ever considered applying for a non-executive role but been discouraged by the process or the level of skill and experience required? Becoming a voluntary sector trustee is a great way to start your board journey in an environment that thrives on diversity and values input from all those committed to developing both themselves and the charities they support.
We are excited to be hosting this panel discussion which will focus on the roles and responsibilities of a trustee and provide first-hand experience from previous successful WIBF trustee applicants who have been through it all before. This informal session will invite open participation and ensure delegates walk away feeling confident and informed about the process of becoming a trustee.
Panel members include:
- Andy Dey, Director, ACOSVO
- Kim Atkinson, Chief Executive, Scottish Sports Association
- Meg Wright, Consultant, Meg Wright Consultancy
