The WHO recommends that adults between the age of 18-64 need around 7-9 hours of sleep per night; but how many of us can attest to reaching anywhere close to that?

With the dawn of the technology era, social and business demands are keeping us awake for longer and many of us find ourselves struggling to switch off mentally and physically. Sleep often has a negative stigma around it and the phrase “you can sleep when you’re dead” almost makes it sound as though sleep is a luxury rather than a necessity.

This session will help you understand why good quality sleep is so important, why we are falling short as a society on the WHO recommendations and how we can all get a better night’s sleep.

Harpreet Pottay is a certified baby and children’s sleep consultant and the founder of Sleep Catcher.

Prior to this, Harpreet had a 14-year career working in the city managing Client Service teams across EMEA and working with Investment Banking clients.

After working with a sleep consultant for her first-born son, Harpreet quickly realised that instilling great sleep habits was the key to be able to juggle the everyday demands of a young working families and wants to put an end to that myth that having young children must equate to poor sleep for all.
