Event overview

This mental health awareness week, come along to our personal excellence program event with the amazing Veronica Leigh, co creator of Mawdsleigh, who will talk about stress, resilience and a new innovative solution to old problems – The Masks Program.

Bookings are closed for this event.

Which mask do you wear? The Victim Mentality ? The People Pleaser? Or maybe you’re the Time Waster? Veronica Leigh gave us an insight into the masks we wear at this fascinating session which was generously hosted by the Apex Hotel at Waterloo Place, Edinburgh.

From a childhood impacted by anxiety and low self-esteem, Veronica progressed into teenage years and then an adulthood that was fraught with addiction issues, difficult relationships, and mental illness. Upon reaching rock-bottom, Veronica turned her life around by going on a voyage of self-discovery which took her up the slopes of Kilimanjaro, pounding the streets for the New York marathon, and learning meditation in India. Then from studying the behaviours of successful people, Veronica noted that everyone hides something and so started to develop The Masks Program, a method to identify one’s true self and to tap into the potential held within.

Assisted by Michael and Emma sharing their experience of The Masks Program, Veronica then urged us to admit to ourselves the masks that we each wear, during what was a thought-provoking and searingly-honest event.
