We are delighted to welcome Alice Lyons as a guest speaker as part of our Personal Excellence Programme of events on Leadership. This session will explore a new style of leadership which can create stronger teams, workplaces and communities in the wake of Covid. It involves a radical rethink of the ways we communicate, connect with, and empower our people. When leaders bring more of their authentic selves to work, they create an exceptional wellbeing culture in which everyone can thrive.

This energising workshop will create a space for attendees to practice the art of self-expression.

Expect storytelling, personal reflection time, group conversations and some downright liberation!

Alice Lyons is the Founder & Director of Dark Coffee. She is a wellbeing facilitator and mental health maverick based in Manchester. She set up wellbeing ‘change agency’ Dark Coffee to improve mental health education in the workplace following her own experiences with depression, burnout and suicide ideation in her early career. She champions a wellbeing-focused approach which inspires people to actively engage with their mental health, learning how to deeply connect with themselves and others.

Dark Coffee works with heart-centred leaders in the SME community offering 1-on-1 coaching programs, wellbeing training sessions, consultancy, speaking and events. The Dark Coffee Podcast is available on all major streaming services.

Beyond the company, Alice takes on any freelance projects, mentoring positions and creative opportunities which allow her to engage in inspiring conversations.
