Making The Most Of Mentoring - Unlocking The Power Of The Relationship

Wednesday 26th May 2021 8:15am to 9:45am Add to my calendar

This event is invite only - if you are a WIBF mentee and have not received an invite, please email operations@wibf.org.uk.

This 90 minute interactive and engaging session will explore the skills needed to maximise your interactions with your mentor, so that you can both get the best out of the experience. You will examine how to set constructive and respectful boundaries from the start; how to manage your state and engagement levels during your conversations; and how to ignite your curiosity and questioning, to draw out as much insight and learning as possible.

The masterclass will cover:

  • Managing state and status: engaging at the right level with your mentor from day one
  • Curiosity: the art and the skills for effective questioning and listening
  • Practice: pair work to explore how to set and manage boundaries and expectations with your mentor, applying the skills learnt in the session

This virtual event will be delivered via Zoom - please register with us in advance of the session to ensure you receive the joining instructions.
