She will share advice on how to be a great mentee, the importance of setting goals and how to identify your own success factors and how to get the most out of a mentor and your mentoring experience.

Emma speaks on the value of mentoring, networking and sponsorship and offers practical advice as to how people in minority groups can progress their own careers, how allies can play an active role and how organisations can change to foster diversity in senior leadership teams.

Emma is passionate about working with companies to create environments for all people to flourish. Through her consultancy work, Emma advises companies on how to embed diversity and inclusion goals into the heart of their business strategy – to achieve measurable, sustainable change and engagement from across all groups of people in the organisation.

Emma has more than 15 years of experience working for large professional services firms including PWC and EY, where she provided restructuring and transaction advice to multi-national corporations. Emma consulted with both boards and executive leadership teams to drive the development and delivery of strategic initiatives.

Emma also mentors future business leaders across corporates, charities and social enterprises.

Emma is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BA in Modern Languages, French and German, from the University of Leeds. She enjoys art, music, gardening and the outdoors, whilst blending her work with looking after and having fun with her two teenage children.
